TRUE DREAMS
This picture I have taken represents mainly the respect and good feelings between two different cultures and ways of living. In the photo we can see a Colombian girl sitting down next to her Spanish friend. They have travelled to many countries, in the image the teenagers are looking at Francisco Pizarro, the Peru´s conqueror, he is an inspiration for them because he wanted to discover new lands and these two girls would like to see every monument, every landscape, every culture and every part of the world.
SEGUNDO PREMIO :
GONZALO ORTEGA CASADO
THE TRUNCATED WAY
This picture represents how hard the trip can be that some immigrants must make to arrive at their destination, the obstacles that they must overcome, the suffering, the break with their life and their culture…
Many times the immigrant way ends like this fragment of clothing, pieces in the barbed wire of a border.
OTROS PARTICIPANTES:

Hello, I am Irene and I’m going to tell you my story. I am the girl of the photo when I was 22 years old. That year was very hard because I had to take the biggest decision of my life. I had to go to New York to look for a future. I chose New York because I studied economic and New York is city’s business. I wanted to find a job there. And you will ask yourself… Why did you go to New York? In my country there wasn’t job, everything was wrong so I had to leave my mother in Spain and achieve my goals. I had hope that everything will be good. I started a new life with a lot of dreams and the new experiences came alone. I found a job and now. I am the most important economist of New York. Nowadays I am 33 years old and I have got a husband, a daughter and I have got my mother that she is waiting for me at the door throught which one day I went.
JUAN LUIS SÁNCHEZ. ALUMNO DE 4º ESO
In the picture we can see at the first a sky: the meaning of this is that the sky it´s the most open thing in the world.
In the other picture we can see a current and that is because all people in the world are the same, we are not different because of the skin colour or our nationality because all are human and all go at the same direction.
SOFÍA FUENTES ARIAS. ALUMNA DE PRIMERO DE BACHILLERATO
There aren’t borders: ONE HEART.
What I want to express in this picture is that although exist physically / legally borders amongst countries always we, youth, we find the way to share our illusion, memories, knowledge and culture all together.
The expression of the faces of the different people that you can see in the picture, I think without any doubt that reflect the key assets we want to get, such ass friendship amongst people front different countries.
I have chosen the white background because for me the white color means «FREEDOM». The freedom that people has to feel when they have to leave from their own country, looking for all the assets we have mentioned previously .
Finally I would say «Welcome to my country and we will se us in the yours».
